Three lusts battle
Babes of the church and babes of the world want to hear their own preachers and teachers — but hearing the voice of God (Father Creator) alone is what is necessary to become a babe of God.
In Jerusalem above, where God the Father sits on the throne, the Son came out of the Father and began conforming the world to His own visible image. Jerusalem above is the mother of those who choose God (Galatians 4:26).
God is about freedom and He can do all things, but you must choose Him over the world and its lusts — which is the three lusts battle. Those who choose God will come to know the truth (John 8:32), but church people think God loves the world (wrong!).
"Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world." (1 John 2:15–16)
God's will is for a babe to go through the growth phases of 1 John 2:12–14:
- child — knows the Father. They repent and their sins are forgiven because of the Father.
- young man — needs the Son's strength, power, and teaching. They are strong, the word of God abides in them, and they have overcome the evil one.
- father — knows Him who is from the beginning. They know the Father, the Son, and the Spirit.
God's entire new covenant (Jeremiah 31:31–34) is the Spirit of both Father and Son. All the truth of Father and Son is in the Spirit sent by Jesus after He returned to the Father.
The way God thinks and feels is not the same as the thinking and feelings of churches, pastors, or all the people of the world.
